WISHBONE CARICATURES - British Pathe:
British Pathe is one of the oldest media companies in the world.
Their roots lie in 1890s Paris where their founder, Charles Pathe, pioneered the development of the moving image.
They were established in London in 1902, and by 1910 were producing their famous bi-weekly newsreel the Pathe Gazette. After the First World War they started producing various Cinemagazines as well. By 1930 they were producing the Gazette, the Pathetone Weekly, the Pathe Pictorial and Eve's Film Review, covering entertainment, culture and womens' issues.

Dylan Cole is an art director, concept artist, and matte painter who specializes in film, video games, and commercials. The southern Caliornia native always had a love for drawing. Inital interest in comic book art gave way to matte painting and concept design after he saw the Art of Star Wars books. Dylan attended UCLA as a fine art major where he continued to draw and paint traditionally.

He is one of the best illustrators when it comes to anthropomorphic animals.
The way Rountree depicts rabbits, squirrels, foxes and other animals is very unique and appealing. You could take any one of his designs and animate them.

John The Animator Guy: The Joker Running Away In Perspective:
Animating a figure moving away from camera into the distance is not as easy as it looks. Here are the drawings, rough background, and x-sheet for the Joker running away in perspective. The final color version in the commercial was tilted counterclockwise approximately 15 to 20%. It was also a little shorter at the end, cutting just before the Joker lands after he clicks his heels. (see the Joker commercial clip in my post from Saturday, July 30, 2011 "Batman Zellers Commercial Series")

Facial Puppetry
This project aims at developing methods that enable natural communication over a distance without revealing one’s identity. The problem consists of two components: real-time generic face tracking and facial expression transfer (i.e. rigging). In order to be a useful tool for communication, the system must be capable of real-time performance on typical hardware (i.e. a laptop). The system should also enable users to generate their own avatars without too much effort of know how. The system requires only a single image of the desired avatar.
